Founded in 1740, the University of Pennsylvania is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The university has four undergraduate colleges. Undergraduate Penn students can find all the connections they need to thrive in an ever-changing and complex world, and they can develop themselves in many ways. Undergraduate Penn students pursue more than 90 majors in four schools, and while they forge new paths in research and scholarship, they can use all the resources of 12 Penn schools. Students are offered a comfortable school life with many housing and dining options both on and off campus.
